Positive View is a young, unique, and highly effective charity that uses photography and film to transform the lives of most disadvantaged 16-25 year olds existing on Inner-London most challenging estates.  The success of its London programme is leading its launch in SE Kent. We are supported by The Arts Council, The Rothschild Foundation, The Westminster Foundation and other major grant givers.

Positive View is unique in delivering its ten-week (one day each week) 'Youth Empowerment Programme', each benefitting ten young people. Our tutors are highly regarding international photographers each of whom give their time on a pro bono basis.  We also enjoy partnership with London's leading galleries including:  The Tate, Photographers Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Haywood Gallery etc who provide curatorial tours and training facilities on a pro bono basis.

The Youth Empowerment Programme enables the young people to develop the self-confidence, self-esteem, and life skills necessary to move on: to college or further education; apprenticeships, work placements, or full-time employment.
