Objectives

Portobello Business Centre has over the last 25 years been at the forefront of empowering local residents into enterprise as well as developing and fostering businesses in one the most deprived areas of London.

Over the last two years in the aftermath of the tragedy, its award winning work has attracted both local and national recognition with PBC supporting over 45 businesses to overcome the fall-out from the disaster. It is now focused on rebuilding the local economy and ensuring that all local residents and businesses can thrive.

PBC has been involved in the creation of over 4,500 businesses in various sectors including fashion, media, catering, design, retailing, music, hospitality and manufacturing.

As a leading social enterprise any profits are reinvested into our mission -

  • Rebuilding the local economy and ensuring that all local residents and businesses affected by the Grenfell tragedy can thrive.
  • Help people to start, grow and expand their businesses',
  • Help people to realise their full potential through the provision of affordable, high quality, independent and confidential support.
