Objectives

Poltimore House is an amazing Grade II* listed building in the countryside near Exeter. Thousands of people have fallen in love with it during their first visit, and many keep coming back. The House and Grounds are owned by Poltimore House Trust, a charity which now has ambitious plans for its restoration as a focal point for the arts, business, communities, and wellbeing.

Activities

The Trust is responsible for overall strategy and governance, but Trustees may also be involved in activities such as preparing grant applications, overseeing specific projects, and communications. We have a dedicated and growing team of volunteers who help to maintain the Grounds, undertake construction projects, run our lovely Cafe and organise an exciting programme of events.
