Objectives

"Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world," the South African leader Nelson Mandela once said. Our charity, the Policy Centre for African Peoples (PCAP), was founded in the UK in 2008 to enable African and disadvantaged people to improve their lives through education.

Activities

To fulfil our mission to improve disadvantaged people's lives through education, our charity implements projects in 3 main areas:

  • Education -we  deliver training and educational projects that enable our beneficiaries, especially young people, to use education as a tool for personal and collective improvement.
  • Leadership development -we provide our beneficiaries with the training and nurturing they need to become effective leaders and change-makers.
  • Social engagement -we train, nurture and encourage our beneficiaries to become agents of positive social change.
