PMLD LINK is a small, not-for profit charity. It produces a high quality journal for practitioners and carers working with people with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) of all ages and in all situations.
The PMLD LINK journal is published three times a year and covers a wide range of topics which are of interest and practical relevance to families and practitioners in schools, colleges, adult provision, in the home, and many other settings. The journal aims to cross professional boundaries and reach diverse services for children and adults with PMLD. It enables readers to keep up to date, develop wider networks and provides a forum for contact with others involved in the field.

The PMLD LINK team is made up of volunteers who are family carers, practitioners and academics from education, health, and social care or from training and voluntary organisations across the UK. The journal production and other maintenance costs are funded entirely by donations and subscriptions to the journal.
