Objectives

We support 500 to 600 people every week, all of whom have learning disabilities, through a number of services that we provide. These include Day Service, Supported Living, Advocacy, Parenting Project, Appointee, and Social Clubs.

Our work is vital to help improve the lives of people who have a learning disability, as well as giving their families and carers confidence that the client’s needs are taken seriously.

Activities

The Day Service offers up to 25 people per day a range of activities, e.g. craft, music and dance sessions, and iPad educational games.

We have 10 clients in Supported Living; the majority of whom have high needs and therefore receive a great deal of support.

The Advocacy Service offers support in cases of Impaired Mental Capacity, and Deprivation Of Liberties.

The Parenting Project offers support to parents with learning disabilities and their children.

The Appointee Services manages the finances of 280 clients who have learning disabilities.

Our Social Clubs open Tuesday and Friday evenings; also Mondays and Thursdays 10 am til 3 pm.
