At Phoenix Futures, we’ve been helping people, families and communities recover from substance use for over 50 years.
We are passionate about recovery, constantly striving to learn, innovate, challenge ourselves, adapt and work together with others to help people achieve their full potential in life. Our determination has made us into one of the most effective organisations in the recovery sector.
As you might expect, the work we do is incredibly varied. Our teams are creating positive change in prisons, communities and residential settings across the country. Every year, we support over 20,000 individuals. We’re not only a drug and alcohol charity, but also a housing association, providing specialist follow-on accommodation to support people on their path to recovery.
What really sets us apart as an organisation is the energy and commitment of the people who work for us – and the career environment we’ve created to help them develop and grow. We invest in the personal and professional development of everyone in our team, providing fully funded accredited qualifications for both managers and staff.
We regard diversity as one of our most important strengths and actively support equal opportunities in everything we do. We also encourage initiative, promote open communication and encourage our teams to continuously improve the quality of care we provide. In short, this is an environment where everyone is treated with respect, where individual contribution is rewarded, and where people – like you – are doing the job for all the right reasons.
Are you keen to make the most of your skills while doing something really worthwhile? Do you share our determination to make a positive difference to the hundreds of people who turn to us for help? Then you could fit in perfectly at Phoenix Futures.
Phoenix Futures, are a registered charity and housing association, providing support for people, families and loved ones affected by addiction to drugs and alcohol. We work across a broad spectrum of services supporting people in residential, prison, housing, community and specialist settings.
We also research, innovate, and share the best possible psychosocial practice helping people sustain long term recovery. We believe fighting stigma and highlighting inequality of access to effective healthcare is essential. We aim to do all this whilst minimising our negative impact on the natural environment and championing the therapeutic benefits of nature to aid recovery
