Objectives

We work with groups of adults and children in care homes, hospitals, prisons, community health settings and schools.  Our volunteer teams of person and therapy animal (usually their dog, occasionally their cat) develop, increase and enhance wellbeing, facilitate communication and in schools contribute to reading confidence and literacy levels.

Activities

Facilitate the nationwide provision of animal therapy visits through attracting and managing a large group of volunteers, temperament-assessing every animal, accrediting, training and insuring volunteers and arranging registered placements in a wide range of establishments across the United Kingdom.
