Objectives

We have been helping make Clerkenwell a great place to live since 1898. Our vision is to build a Connected Community where everyone benefits from living here.

We help children living in poverty to improve their life chances by connecting them and their families with others in the community

We help older people who are lonely or at risk of isolation to become active citizens by connecting them with others in the community.

We provide opportunities for residents to participate in activities through which they can make acquaintances across divides, for mutual benefit

In 2020/21 The Peel will support 1,000 residents to become acquaintances with people they would not otherwise have met, for mutual benefit.

Activities

We directly delivery activities such as a holiday play scheme, mentoring and activities for older people.

We work with residents and businesses to support and encourage them to deliver activities with a small grants programme, discounted project space and leadership development.

We support organisations to deliver activities through providing space (project and desk), community engagement and partnership development.
