Our aim is to create and sustain engagement between the Peak District National Park and new audiences, including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities living around the borders of the Peak District National Park. We do this by organising visits and activities that are fun but also develop knowledge, skills and new friendships. We take an active role in promoting and protecting this wonderful place for all, especially for future generations.
We are undergoing an exciting period of development, having recently received funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Our new project “Championing National Parks for Everyone”, aims to expand our work which is being developed in partnership with the Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors and Peak District National Parks.
