Objectives

We believe in the power of youth-led development. Through our innovative employability and entrepreneurship programmes we are working to improve jobs and livelihoods for thousands of young people around the world. We encourage young people to get informed and give them all the tools and support they need to create positive change in their own lives and that of their communities.

Activities

We help illiterate young people in Africa escape a vicious cycle of poverty. We empower them to feed themselves and their families, send their children to school and pay for vital medicine.  We do this by helping them to create and develop their own business and become financially independent for life.

In the UK, Work the Change started as an employability training programme for young people designed as an in classroom workshop to ease the school-to-work transition. Helping young people understand what employers are looking for and how they can assess their own skills and experiences. The programme itself is CV-worthy, honing communication, presentation and teamwork skills and requiring proactivity and professionalism.
