Activities

Parkside High are a not-for-profit youth organisation based in Ilkeston, delivering youth centred programmes including an alternative learning provision to disengaged young people, school holiday programmes and a community sport activities programme. We have delivered detached youth work on many occasions, usually as a reactive intervention to anti-social behaviour issues in the area and we offer 1-2-1 interventions to young people involved in serious youth violence.

We have a wealth of experience of managing a variety of youth projects that include Detached youth work, community sport programmes, youth forums, 1-2-1 mentoring, outdoor learning activities, youth leadership and volunteering and much more. We have a strong management team made up our Founder, a Project Manager and a Youth and Communities Development Manager, all of which have lived experience and multiple professional achievements in the Community and Voluntary sector, as well as other sectors.

Parkside have a passion for supporting the most vulnerable young people in society and have a history of delivering big National, regional, and local youth projects.
