As the UK's Parkinson's support and research charity we provide expert information on Parkinson's, fund groundbreaking Parkinson's research, offer friendship and support, campaign, change attitudes and improve services and fundraise to find a cure and improve life for those affected by Parkinson's. Because we're here, no one has to face Parkinson's alone.
We offer friendship, support and the opportunity to meet other people affected via our network of local groups across the UK and fund research to advance our understanding of Parkinson's and what causes it. We campaign to make sure people living with Parkinson's are treated fairly, with access to the support they need including high quality health and social care, and help from a specialist Parkinson's nurse. We also improve understanding of Parkinson's by changing attitudes and challenging myths. we run a number of activities and projects from fundraising events to research talks to campaigns.
