We are Portsmouth's first volunteer-led plastic free shop, providing groceries for the community that don’t cost the Earth. As a Community Interest Company, we are working toward educating and empowering our local community on making more sustainable choices. All our profits will be reinvested in the business and in local projects.
The shop is open 6 days a week (Tuesday-Sunday) for in store shopping or click & collect. We also offer local e-cargo bike delivery.
We always have one staff member on shift and up to two volunteers per shift. Our local bike delivery service run twice a week and are offered by volunteers.
Our volunteers can either work in the shop, do deliveries or help on a workstream (HR, Finance, Social Media, Suppliers & Products...).
All our volunteers are entitled to 10% discount on their shopping provided they volunteer a minimum of 3 hours a month.
