Objectives

Oxfam's Southern Logistics centre is a base for the online hub, where we receive, list and sell second-hand clothes through the online shop.

Oxfam is a global movement of millions of people who share the belief that, in a world rich in resources, poverty isn't inevitable. In just 15 years, extreme poverty has been halved. 15 more years and we can end it for good. Knowing that we are working towards helping those in need is at the heart of all we do here at Oxfam, and selling and recycling unwanted clothes is just one of the many ways we can do that.

Activities

We have a loyal volunteer team who put in many hours of hard work to ensure that the clothes we receive are online and ready to buy quickly. The experience they gain is unique and valuable, and there are a number of opportunities to volunteer in different ways; from sorting clothes, to photographing, listing and packing, no day is the same here at Milton Point.

The stock we sell is high quality, and we have a variety of brand names on offer, including a great selection of vintage clothes. Being based in a warehouse means we have space to store the wide selection of clothing and accessories we receive on a daily basis.
