OVADA is an artist led centre for experimental visual arts research and practice as well as professional developments for both emerging and established artists.
We offer an extensive programme of inclusive exhibitions, events and workshops within our nifty warehouse Committed to giving a voice and space to marginalised communities, we want to platform artists of colour as well as artists from working class backgrounds.
We seek to promote critical debate and the exchange of ideas without set outcomes. We are proud to be a part of the Oxford Cultural Anti-Racism Alliance and have signed the Manifesto for Radical Change. Equally, we feel responsible to contribute towards climate justice and a zero carbon future throughout our activities and are a signatory on the Green Arts Charter for Oxfordshire. Our goal is to make the arts accessible and enjoyable for all.
We have artist studios, exhibitions, events, workshops, courses, and space hire.
