Objectives

At Open Arms we believe that every child has the right to survival and development. We provide essential care for Malawi's orphaned and abandoned children, giving them the chance to achieve their potential within the love and security of a home.

Our principal aim is to support the return of fit and healthy toddlers to their extended families.  We work closely with communities to build brighter futures for children and their families for generations to come.

Activities

We provide temporary residential care for orphaned and abandoned babies at risk with no where else to go.  We nurse them back to health and support Malawi's Social Welfare Department to return them to their extended families once they are well enough.

We provide community support and partner with local villages to improve village owned facilities.
