Objectives

Oasisplay provides innovative and inclusive outdoor play and learning opportunities that enable disabled and non-disabled children and young people to lead happy, fulfilled lives and play positive roles in the community.

Oasisplay runs a Nature Garden, a Youth Led Go-Karting project - Right Track Project, and two Adventure Playgrounds. All projects are open access and available for local children to attend after school, on Saturdays and during the school holidays. At all of our sites we provide specialist services for children with disabilities.

In addition we run activity sessions for schools, youth groups, private groups and other agencies.

Each of the four projects has a team of experienced play and youth workers who ensure that all children and young people are able to make the most of the amazing opportunities and experiences that are available on each site.

Oasisplay is managed by a voluntary management committee and funded by the London Borough of Lambeth, The National Lottery Community Fund, BBC Children in Need, The Walcot Foundation, City Bridge Trust and The Heritage Fund.

Activities

Short Breaks Service – we run a Short Breaks Service, including After School Clubs, Saturday Clubs and Holiday Play schemes, for children and young people referred to us by Lambeth Children with Disabilities Service.

Stay and Play – This service allows parents/carers to bring their child/young person to Oasisplay during any of our play sessions. Parents/carers have the opportunity to play with their child/young person within a fun and exciting play environment. The best thing about Stay and Play is that it requires no referral, and it is FREE!

We do ask families to contact us for Stay and Play during school holidays as it can get extremely busy on site. We will do all that we can to make space for you.

The Short Breaks Services and Stay and Play are available at both our Adventure Playgrounds and the Nature Garden, whenever they are open. Opening times for both playgrounds are below; please see the Nature Garden page for more information on their opening times.

After School Clubs – Tuesday to Friday during term time. Times: 3.30pm to 6pm.

Saturday Clubs – Every Saturday in term time only. Times: 10.30am to 4pm.

Holiday Playschemes – Monday to Friday throughout all school holidays (except Christmas). Times: 10.30am to 4pm.
