We exist to reignite a hope and a future for everyone facing homelessness
Homeless. We don’t define people by this label. Instead we see a human being with hopes, fears and dreams.
We believe that anyone’s life can be transformed however dark things may seem. That’s why every year we walk with over 2000 individuals on their journey out of homelessness in over 17 projects across the country.
We tell people a different story, one they might not have heard before. We believe that every person we work with has worth and value, and that their situation can be transformed for good.
Our values are based on Christian principles and the Christian ethos is at the heart of our mission.
ASPIRE: Through our training and skills programmes, we support people who are furthest from the job market to get back into employment.
HOME: Over 200 men and women find the space and security they need to grow and heal at our supported accommodation projects each year.
Each of our accommodation projects provide a loving space where the young women can develop new skills, rebuild their confidence, learn how to parent and realise their true worth, but most importantly it’s a place to call home.
EMPOWER: Our one to one and peer support groups allow people a safe space to open up and find their voice again.
We equip people to make safe choices and understand what a healthy relationship looks like.
We restore people’s confidence through helping them access legal advice and make a safety plan.
BASIS BEDS: We’ve welcomed over 5000 individuals at our Basis centres.
We don’t judge anyone that walks through the door, whatever their story.
