We’re passionate about the spectacular landscape, wildlife and habitats of the Lake District and Cumbria. We inspire and enable visitors, tourism businesses and communities to recognise the threats that the natural environment faces and to take care of it.
We run a ‘visitor giving scheme’ with local tourism businesses which raises £thousands each year in support of practical nature conservation projects. Through our corporate membership scheme, research projects and campaigns we also help tourism sector businesses to reduce their environmental footprint and adopt responsible tourism practices.
