Objectives

People think of Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge as wealthy areas, but the statistics tell a different story. The reality is that many local people struggle to make ends meet. Across our area, 1 in 6 children live in poverty*. Unfortunately, there is a growing need for our service, since 2018 the use of our service has increased by 37%.

Every year we reach out to more and more people in our community. Our latest stats show another large increase in referrals during 2019-2020 driven by a rise in the number of families in need and an increase in the number of agencies we support. Referrals are up 44% YOY with the number of people receiving emergency provisions increasing by 45% year on year.

Activities
