The Northern Alternative Education Partnership (NAEP) is a not-for-profit unincorporated association offering free membership to teachers and school leaders in the North of England working in the alternative provision (AP) sector who share a commitment to improving outcomes and life chances for children and young people who have been excluded and who therefore educated outside of mainstream schools.
We will meet our objectives by:
Offering free membership, with a view to sharing expertise and improving educational standards and pupil outcomes, to schools supporting excluded children and young people in the North of England.
Facilitating, free of charge, a confidential and non-judgemental platform for members to collaborate and solve strategic problems together - harnessing the power of inter-school collaboration.
Building sustainable partnerships and networks to influence positive change for excluded pupils.
Celebrating and promoting successes within the alternative provision sector in the North of England.
