Objectives

Our aims are

1 : Social Inclusion

To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society.

2 : Develop Skills

To develop the capacity and skills of the disadvantaged minority ethnic individuals and communities of Norwich to support the fulfillment of potential and enable active involvement in society.

3 : Cohesion

To contribute towards social and racial cohesion by building positive images and new connections among people of different backgrounds; thereby integrating marginalised people into the wider community.

Mission

  • To work together with migrants, asylum seekers and refugees, and their families, to support their well-being and ambitions.
  • To provide skill-building and social programmes in a safe and welcoming environment.

Impact: We support 1500 registered participants ( refugees, asylum seekers and migrants) and see over 250 people each week, helping them to maintain their wellbeing, preventing isolation and helping them integrate into British society.

Activities

We have 6-day per week programmes which include providing advice, English classes, training and employment opportunities, mentoring and befriending for adults and children, sexual health and relationship workshops, homework clubs, families club, craft and conversation groups, mixed martial arts and dance fitness classes.
