Activities

New Roots accommodates and supports over 600 homeless individuals a night and places over 1500 clients per year into its hostels and houses. New Roots tenants often have multiple and complex needs with which they are attempting to cope with and overcome. As well as accommodation we put in place support services to help adults  regain the stability they need to rebuild their lives, gain skills, training and employment to be able to move successfully towards breaking the cycle of homelessness

Over the past 2 years we have supported 179 service users who have been released directly from prison, 957 with convictions, 850 who have been rough sleepers and 682 who have declared drug or alcohol and mental health issues.

New Roots has properties across Birmingham and surrounding areas and has a small hands on Management Team who are supported by a wider team of Housing Officers and on site staff.
