Objectives

We deliver exciting, challenging and inclusive activities to Young People across the New Forest area on every weekday night in our communities. Teaching them skills for life and helping them build on existing skills. We welcome young people from every economic and social background and pride ourselves on being inclusive to provide Scouting for all. We provide activities and opportunties otherwise not available to them.

Activities

We offer District events like an annual Donkey Derby and a Santa run, both open to the community. Groups hold regular sleepovers and weekend or week long camps. We have an excellent DofE programme, run expeditions in the Lake District, travel to the Gambia to deliver community projects, attend the World Scout Jamboree and allow every young person, once they reach 14, the opportunity to attend an adventurous 2 week exciting activity trip to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in Switzerland.
