We are the Neonatal Nurses Association (NNA) - the national organisation representing neonatal nurses and promoting neonatal nursing for the benefit of nurses, neonates, and their families.
Our vision is for all neonatal nurses to feel confident, supported and valued in their role enabling optimisation of the neonatal experience for staff, babies and families.
The NNA delivers a bi-monthly journal (The Journal of Neonatal Nursing), regular learning and supportive member events, an annual conference and an education and research special interest group. We also offer our members 3 scholarships annually and we give awards each year to celebrate neonatal nurses and neonatal teams.
The NNA also represents neonatal nurses and neonatal nursing on regional and national projects and groups to elevate the voice of neonatal nurses and those card for by them.
The NNA is a member organisation. Our activities are driven by our membership and the landscape in which they practice. Through our scholarships and awards the NNA works to enable neonatal nurses and neonatal teams to walk toward projects and areas of interest that might not otherwise be accessible to them. We deliver education & learning events to help neonatal nurses feel confident and supported in their roles and to ultimately improve the neonatal experience for staff, babies and their families.
