Objectives

The Neighbourhood Policing Panel (NPP) is the primary mechanism by which the community hold the local police to account. Each quarter the chairs of the Ward Panels meet with the police Inspector of Neighbourhoods.

Ward Panels are a key feature in community policing and fully supported by the police and the NPP.

 

Activities

A Ward Panel is a community led group that meet with the local policing team, local authority, and other representatives from the neighbourhood to discuss issues of crime, and community safety in the area.
