Neighbourhood and Home Watch Network is the largest voluntary movement within the UK and the only national charity where communities protect themselves and others through sharing and delivering crime prevention advice.

Crime prevention is our core business, with its roots firmly embedded within our communities. The benefits of and outcomes from ‘neighbourliness’ and ‘community spirit’ cannot be underestimated and will continue to be a pivotal part of the movement. Neighbourhood Watch is no longer just about preventing burglary but about preventing serious and organised crime and community resilience to name but a few.

With 173,000 coordinators covering 3.8 million households across England and Wales, contributing to over £1 billion of their time back to their communities, we need new board members steering the movement from a national perspective.  We are looking for new trustees who have the skills and expertise to help us deliver our new five year strategic plan and would especially welcome candidates who come from an accounting, marketing, communication or secretariat background.
