We are a local branch of a national charity. NCT (previously National Childbirth Trust) supports family from pregnancy through to the first 1,000 days. We offer practical and emotional support in all areas of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood including help with feeding as well as local meet ups, events and activities.
The branch activities include weekly Bumps and Babies groups, coffee mornings, annual events e.g. Christmas party and Cheeky Monkey's Tea Party, Nearly New Sales and support groups e.g. breastfeeding, gay parents and homebirths.
The committee meets quarterly at different locations, we also have separate meetings for events volunteers, nearly new sale volunteers and area coordinators. We also arrange social events a couple of times a year.
Parents to be, new parents and carers across St Albans and District. Everyone is able to use our services and attend our groups (no need to be an NCT member).
