Objectives

The National Survivor User Network (NSUN) connects, communicates, capacity builds and influences. NSUN supports service user, survivor and user-led community mental health projects and groups as well as individuals, for whom mental health problems are often just one issue affecting their lives.

Activities

NSUN provides a vital capacity building and collective empowerment function for these marginalised voices on a national scale and is the only national user-led organisation providing information and support to challenge and inform existing policy and practice at national and local levels. The views and experiences of our members directly inform our work and set the agenda for political influencing locally and nationally. NSUN provides the direct, independent and collective voice of experience and is rooted in the community it serves.

NSUN’s vision is of a diverse, inclusive and influential user-led network with the strength to challenge inequality and improve lives.
