We are a Christian organisation with about 850 members across the counties of Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire working in small groups or individually to:
Support and promote marriage
Encourage parents to develop the faith of their children
Maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service
Promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and the protection of children
Help those whose family life has met with adversity
We raise money to provide holidays for needy families - our "Away from it all" (AFIA scheme)
We collect toiletries and other essential items for parents with sick children who stay at Ronald MacDonald House at the JR Hospital, Oxford
We knit and purchase items for Baby Basics in Milton Keynes
We run baby and toddler groups in local areas
We work with a charity which supports children who have a parent in prison (Children Heard & Seen) and give them special treats, particularly at holiday times.
We give Christmas cards to prisoners and donate more so they can send them to their families, as well as Mothers Day cards.
We campaign against Modern Day Slavery and Gender based violence, setting up displays, giving information and prayer resources
In some churches we work with the clergy to support baptism and marriage preparation
Members meet in small groups for fellowship, prayer and planning activities. Local groups can apply for grants to start projects where there is a particular need.
