Objectives

Moseley Community Development Trust is a charity, established in 2001. It seeks to support the renewal of the Moseley; a popular and diverse neighbourhood in Birmingham. The area has many heritage assets along with a long tradition of community led initiatives. The Development Trust acts a “community anchor” organisation for the neighbourhood and delivers a combination of social, environmental and economic activities.

Activities

Moseley Community Development Trust delivers a combination of social, economic and environmental projects to improve the quality of life for local residents and businesses. We are a community owned and led organisation. Our main service for the neighbourhood is the Moseley Exchange, a former telephone exchange from the 1930's that we have gradually converted in to offices, meeting rooms and co working space; each year about 60 different groups use our rooms for events. We support community initiatives in the neighbourhood, develop strategic plans and engage with local decision-makers.
