Objectives

At the Missenden Walled Garden Charity we provide day support for adults with disabilities and mental health issues.  Our team of staff and volunteers help our clients (gardeners) to grow and reach their potential at their own pace within a safe and compassionate environment.

Activities

Our gardeners work outdoors renovating and maintaining the grounds, and indoors within our large glass houses and education centre growing plants and taking part in other activities such as art and music.  The food we grow is used in the kitchens of Missenden Abbey, helping to create a strong sense of worth to what our gardeners do. We also take small teams into our community to fulfil maintenance contracts providing our gardeners with a rich mix of work, education and community engagement.
