Objectives

Mid Kent Mind was established in 1969 and is affiliated to ‘Mind’ – a leading mental health charity. We are dedicated to improving the lives of people who are experiencing mental health issues by providing well-respected, recovery-based community services, high quality information and advice. We actively promote positive wellbeing, providing support to individuals, carers and families through a wide range of diverse services.

Activities

Mid Kent Mind provide a wide range of Adult services, from courses to help people deal with Depression & Anxiety, to social groups offering peer support; such as walking groups, social groups and art groups.

We offer a range of courses to support young people aged 11 to 18. Courses look at common areas of mental health, and how we can empower and equip young people to deal with mental health proactively in adult life.

We have a range of training courses available for people who would like to learn more about mental health. These courses include Mental Heath Awareness, Suicide Prevention & Awareness, Mental Health First Aid and more.
