Objectives

Our group aim to enhance the quality of life for the older and disabled members of our community and to help them to maintain their independence allowing them to keep in touch with their peers by attending clubs, visiting friends and go shopping. We also enable them to attend medical appointments both locally and in Oban and Glasgow.

Activities

Our volunteers, who are all PVG registered, use their own cars to transport our clients to their chosen destinations. This is a very rural area, there is a local and long distance bus service available but some if our clients are, because if illness of disability unable to use the public service.  Also it is sometimes impossible to access Public Transport  to the hospital appointment times they are given.
