Objectives

The organisation primarily promotes participation in women's football but as a sport club at the heart of multi-cultural Toxteth it also creates a hub and focus for the local communities.  Local and regional support for the team is growing, and that will encourage more young girls to take up sport with huge physical, mental and social benefits.

Activities

The women's team competes in the 4th tier of women's football - the Women's FA National League North, Division One.  This league has a regional reach across the northern counties of England.  As with all sports teams, our profile is key to generating interest in the sport and in playing.  The team operates out of a community ground in Toxteth and works in partnership with a CIC who run the ground, to run free coaching sessions for children.  Again, this directly grows participation in the sport and taps into community groups and ethnic groups who would otherwise not necessarily participate.  In 2015, the club won the National FA award for grow the game.
