We provide one to one social/emotional and therapeutic support to vulnerable and distressed children by providing them with a dedicated and fully trained volunteer mentor. The charity safely and professionally recruits volunteer mentors from the community to provide dedicated, child centred and long term support with the aim of improving their well-being and engagement in learning. We believe that engagement in learning is key for young people to secure a successful transition to adulthood.
Our mission is for children and young people to feel valued and supported during difficult times.
We are dedicated to supporting vulnerable and distressed children and young people by providing them with a volunteer mentor. Professionally and safely recruited and trained adults will offer listening support and guidance to these young people during difficulties in their lives, which may include self-harm, bullying, traumatic bereavement and family breakdown. The aim of mentoring is to help these young people achieve positive changes and remain engaged with their education, families and community, and achieve a successful transition to adulthood. The wellbeing of these children and young people forms the focus of our work.
