1 in 6 workers experience problems such as anxiety, low mood and stress at work. The Stevenson/Farmer review, Thriving at Work, highlighted that an estimated 300,000 people lose their jobs each year due to mental ill health.
We also know, from analysis by Deloitte, that there is a demonstrable cost to employers and investing in supporting mental health at work is good for business and productivity. Poor mental health costs the UK economy between £74 billion and £99 billion a year.
Mental Health at Work is developed by Mind, which worked in collaboration with 11 key partners from the world of business, industry and mental health to develop Mental Health at Work. The department helps oversee and shape the development of the site to ensure it meets the needs of employees and employers across the UK.
The site brings together resources, toolkits, blogs and case studies into one place. Regardless of the sector you work in, the size of your organisation or the location you're based, you'll find what you need at Mental Health at Work.
