Objectives

Our organisation is a place where we set up a social enterprise in the form of a charity shop, to give people with mental health problems a safe haven to work while they build their confidence and self-esteem. This is so they can get back into full and part time employment. Our organisation has an holistic approach because we understand that one size doesn't fit all. We may all be the same with a diagnosis of a mental health problem however, we are all different in how we manage it.

Activities

People come to work in the shop, finding the area where they feel most comfortable until they are able to move forward either developing their own skills or learning new skills. To date, since opening in March 2014 30 people are in full and part time employment. We provide help and support to people throughout their working life and beyond. Building relationships, friendships and social networks, so that the support increases in each person's community. The goal is to help people to sustain their employment.
