Objectives

Work with local communities to provide life changing opportunities.

Saving the lives of disadvantaged children and women is our major priority and we are able to do this with donation from partners. We support provision of basic medical services in remote villages in Northern Uganda through at Alemre Medical Aid Community Health Centre. Our partners Medical Aid Uganda has very dedicated, experience, skilful and puts patient care, experience   and safety a key priority. 

Activities

HIV/AIDs  is one of the major causes of ill health and death in Alemere. The health centre believes that empowering patients by making them to be well informed about remaining healthy is very important. The Health centre is actively preventing its spread of HIV/AIDs and other diseases through health education, counselling and voluntary testing. HIV positive people are referred to Amolatar HCIV for HAART services and any other investigations and treatment. HIV/AIDs positive mothers and children are regularly screen for other infection, offered free treatment and care in the health centre.  The prevention and control of the spread of HIV/AIDs disease is achieved through health education, counselling and voluntary testing and treatment.  Other health education conducted include environmental health, child health, family planning, oral health, immunization, water and sanitation.
