Geographical remit: 


We support people with ME their families and carers. We help them access statutory and voluntary services to manage their condition and empower them to make informed choices. We support research into the cause and cure of ME.


  • Provide a telephone helpline and listening ear
  • Provide home visits to discuss individual needs
  • Provide advice on condition management and rehabilitation
  • Provide welfare benefits advice and support
  • Provide information on local, regional and national issues relating to ME
  • Provide and advocacy/support worker for young people with ME
  • Provide an advocacy/support worker for severely affected adults
  • Help set up, support and maintain local ME friendship groups
  • Develop social media to engage and interact members and friends of ME
