Objectives

We operate as Masihi International, and we are dedicated to the cause of the disadvantaged and low-income families. Our aim is to connect communities and bridge the gap between marginalised groups and mainstream society and empower individuals to reach their full potential by helping them belong and feel accepted in the community, and society at large. We do this by helping families to meet their welfare and social needs, our beneficiaries are low-income families and the disadvantaged.

We provide supermarket vouchers, and offer help with paying utility bills where people are struggling, and we meet temporary accommodation needs where required. We help our beneficiaries to obtain education through access to training and fully funded educational courses via our learning partners. This will enable them to obtain skills that will increase their employability. Our goal is to give hope, alleviate suffering and hardship by meeting the welfare and social needs of low-income families and the disadvantaged.

Activities

Our strategy is to first alleviate hardship and suffering, and to bring hope. We then empower through education, which will lead to people making better informed choices. We meet these objectives through the support we offer in food and utility vouchers to those who need it most. We also provide access to educational courses, and through our life changing Life Skills course we give advice, guidance, mentor and offer information on issues ranging from managing finances, and making good health choices to help with addiction.
