Objectives

We all know how important happy relationships are and we are all aware of the negative effects on individuals, families and on society, when relationships break down. Nearly 50% of 16 year-olds are not living with both of their parents. Marriage Care has existed for nearly 80 years, to help all relationships become more loving, stable, committed and happy. We do this by offering low-cost, professional, relationship counselling for all and approved courses for couples planning to marry.

The need for our services has never been greater! You can be a part of our work and together we can make a difference to couples, families and society.

‘This has definitely saved our marriage. We had reached a point of dysfunction that we could not resolve without help. We now have the tools to try to avoid this in future and build on what we have achieved together with your help.’

Activities

Marriage Care provide professional, minimal-cost, relationship counselling services for couples experiencing relationship distress and affordable marriage preparation courses for those marrying in the Catholic Church. Our services help couples to mend their lives and families and to build strong foundations for their future together. Our services can be accessed online and in some locations in-person. We operate through around 50 centre teams across England, Wales and Gibraltar.
