Objectives

Marches Counselling Service is a small non-profit making charity providing professional and confidential counselling services to adults (18+) throughout Herefordshire.

We are a BACP accredited organisation and work with qualified counsellors to provide a range of evidence-based talking therapies, from brief interventions to long term work for deeply entrenched issues.

We also deliver creative workshops for volunteers through a project funded by the local authority.

Regular supervision is provided 'in-house' by practitioners experienced in the NHS as well as the provision of a supportive and educative working environment for counsellors to raise and maintain professional standards.

Activities

Marches Counselling Service provides an affordable, flexible and ethical counselling service to adults in need throughout Herefordshire.  We offer help to navigate difficult times in life and to enable clients to:

- find a new outlook

- develop coping skills

- feel better about themselves

- come to terms with life's changes

We work to eliminate the stigma of mental illness and distress through education and awareness raising within the general public.
