Objectives

The Aims of the charity are:-

  • To preserve the Trust’s Grade II Star Listed property in Old Bedhampton

  • To provide a caring home environment for the elderly in the Trust’s properties

  • To foster and promote the social and historic ambience of Old Bedhampton

  • To foster education in the community

  • The motto is 'Heritage with Care.'

Activities

Maintenance of The Elms a Grade II Star Listed Building where s/c 5 apartments are provided for the recently retired, and an historic Banqueting. Hall called the Waterloo Room.

Three main fundraising events in the year. November Winter Fayre. May 3-day event Art Exhibition and August a Garden Party.

In between times - Talk evenings in the trust's historic Waterloo Room - 3-4 per year, mounted by the volunteers at the trust's small museum aka The Bedhampton Historical Collection

Provide residential care for 14 elderly in the trust's Registered Residential Care Home and where regular small fundraising and entertainment events are held

Weekly Luncheon Club for senior local people
