Geographical remit:

Manor House Development Trust is a charitable social enterprise. We deliver and help other organisations to deliver community services which are value for money and create lasting benefits. This approach allows the community to lead and determine its own future.

Our volunteer programme aims to bring people together, while supporting individuals in their personal and professional development.

Volunteering is not simply giving your time for free, but helping and supporting your community while acquiring new skills, making new friends and having fun!

We offer a wide range of volunteer experiences combined with a personal development package that includes free training, 1-2-1 support from our volunteer coordinator and exclusive activities and trips for volunteers.

Our volunteer programme has engaged over 200 volunteers in the last 6 months, who have volunteered a total of 1000 hours to support community projects and events.

Whether you can give 2 or 20 hours a week, there is wide a range of activities for you can get involved in! We currently hold opportunities in the areas of:

  • befriending
  • communications and media
  • climate change awareness
  • energy efficiency assessment
  • admin and office support
  • community gardening
  • arts & creativity
