Making Space creates opportunities for people to enjoy and take part in high quality craft; expanding understanding of what craft is, does and can be. Making Space is a community-based organisation where people with and without arts experience can discover and develop their design and making skills, increase their personal well being.
Making Space offers courses in its fully equipped studios as well as bespoke projects on site and out and about in the community where children, young people and adults learn from experienced makers. There are 7 studios on site leased to professional makers and artists who want to develop their practice and business, through having space to think and access to knowledge and creative networks
