Make More are an organisation with the aim of supporting and providing services for underrepresented people across local communities. The work we do reaches the most underrepresented people across our communities, including those that are excluded from digital services to those who are need of mental wellbeing support.
Some of the services and projects we are currently working on include digital support for vulnerable people; STEM programmes for mothers and babies; to claim support for those seeking compensation through the Windrush Compensation Scheme.
We have supported people all around the UK and take great pride in how our new organisation is moving at pace to support even more of those that need it most.
Make More are advocates of inclusion; and the work we do ensures that people of all ages and backgrounds have equal access to opportunities. Our programmes and projects work on bringing communities together. We have a a number of areas that we cover to help meet these objectives including:
STEM workshops & Community Training
Make More work with local people, from young people through to the more mature members of communities to upskill and drive engagement in the area of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Technology Training Programmes
Make More are technology advocates and believe that upskilling people to ensure they can access the latest services and products is an important part of bridging the inequality gap. From tablet and computer training to A.I training programmes, these sessions aim to instil confidence in an increasing technological world.
Mental Wellbeing Programmes
Initiatives that involve working with the community to encourage local participation in programmes that help people to grow. These range from mental wellbeing workshops to fitness programmes. We help to plant the seed, so that we can grow together.
Inclusivity Programmes
Events which encourage inclusivity amongst people from underrepresented backgrounds with a specific focus on breaking down the stigmas and misunderstandings between different groups of people. This includes people with disabilities, mental health, religion and age groups.
