Magic Carpet provides creative opportunities to help build self-confidence, self-esteem and a sense of well-being through the creative arts. It brings together sessional artists with people from all walks of life who often find it difficult to access the therapy that can be found in creativity in an atmosphere of compassionate, mutual support and respect.
We currently run eight regular groups across Exeter, Exmouth and Honiton with nearly 100 participants whose lives are enriched through painting, ceramics, music, drama, sculpture and print making…. And there are regular projects, sometimes in partnership with local agencies when funding allows for those most marginalised in our society.
