Objectives

MADE is an innovative organisation in the UK inspiring and enabling young British Muslims to take positive action to serve society and the environment. It does this through educating Muslim young people about the Islamic principles behind social action, skilling up Muslim young leaders, and partnering with others to provide opportunities for young people to participate in social action projects through volunteering and campaigning.

Activities

(1) development of a global education curriculum

(2) training of teachers, both in Muslim schools and madrassahs to enable them to teach the global education curriculum

(3)  development and implementation of the activism curriculum for university age

(4) development and implementation of leadership courses for young Muslims who would like to take a lead in the community

(5) partnering with others to ensure an integrated and joined-up approach, to ensure that Muslims are linking with both inter-faith and mainstream organisations, and to ensure maximum impact.
